"[… ] Pinto’s painting is great because it affirms the ontological nothingness of things as such only useful for the survival of our self. The vanity of all things is the founding measure of his art. […]

In his works Pinto implements a transformation, snatches things from an historical perspective and makes them existing in themselves as truth.

The pain in its naked reality is the transcription of the meaningless nothing. It is the liberated existence, in the way that it escapes design, it is art. It is not the represented subject or the meaning that makes a work of art, but its lack of sense. […]"
